For Stripe Startups we created a modular system which is structured around two core symbols that function as the primary building blocks of the visual identity.
The system defines a set of transformation rules: including cropping logic, scale relationships, and motion behaviors, that allow the symbols to adapt consistently across formats, surfaces, and use cases. By applying these parameters, the identity remains structurally coherent while supporting a wide range of compositions and layouts.
Across static and motion applications, the symbols operate as flexible components within a unified framework. Their controlled variation ensures scalability and repeatability, while preserving visual consistency and recognizability throughout the system.
