Estudi-Image was approached by dating app, Hinge, to bring their iconic character, Hingie, to life in a novel manner - through a 3D visualization, a first in the brand's history.
Adhering to Hinge's ethos of fostering meaningful connections, allowing users to find love and eventually delete the app, the collaboration aimed to visually "kill" Hingie in a series of Asmr-inspired, intricately detailed 3D scenes.
By placing an emphasis on hyper-realistic details, sound design, and simulations, Estudi-Image created 5 films depicting Hingie's demise. These short animations, designed to align with Hinge's philosophy of being "designed to be deleted", showcase Hingie's eventual downfall.
The animations were played globally across various platforms including YouTube, Hulu, and others, and were also featured in Hinge's NYC office.
